Hello there Desi Brides!
I hope you are all having a fabulous week and looking forward to the Easter weekend!
I’ve been busy planning and finalising the finer details for my lovely couples who’ weddings are in April so its been all go go go!
So moving on today I wanted to talk about my recent press stay at the lovely The Webbington Hotel & Spa which is situated in a peaceful countryside to the south of Bristol.
As a Asian wedding planner, Asian wedding coordinator and wedding blogger I frequently get invited by venues to review them as a wedding venue.
As soon as I walked into The Webbington Hotel & Spa I knew it was special. The location in particular is very unique. It’s situated prominently on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills, overlooking the picturesque hamlet of Loxton.
Originally a beautiful Edwardian manor, the house and grounds have been developed to create a peaceful and spacious hotel and of course a Asian wedding venue.
The thing I really liked about this venue that it was secluded and isolated and in a beautiful location however its in easy reach of the M5.
Now lets get down to the details of this beautiful wedding venue.
As you know the challenge with Asian weddings is always guest capacity! I definitely struggled with this when I was planning my own wedding last year. The great thing about the Webbington is that it can accommodate up to 600 guests, making it a fantastic wedding venue to cater for larger weddings. There are also multiple rooms available which can hold anything from 100 to 600 guests which makes it an ideal venue for any pre wedding events you may be thinking of having such as a civil ceremony as the rooms are licensed.
Civil marriage ceremonies for the solemnisation of marriages are available any day of the week together with Bank Holidays – at the discretion of the Superintendent Registrar at Somerset Council.
For me I think this venue has its own unique atmosphere along with personal service together as well as caring and attentive staff which was very evident from my press stay.
There is a brand new roof terrace which offers panoramic views over the Somerset Levels and is ideal for welcome drinks, canapés and a perfect setting for stunning wedding photographs.
I had the absolute pleasure of staying the bridal suite which was nothing short of stunning! The old charm and period features of this bridal suite really resonated with me!
The hotel also offers discounted accommodation rates for those guests who would like to extend their stay to truly celebrate the wedding.
Here are some images of the stunning rooms that the Webbington can offer.
